Exploring the outdoors is a MUST in my book. Rather we go on nature walks to find treasures, spending time at a playground or take a trip to the local zoo, outdoor play is essential part of childhood.

How to Create Watercolor Spray Leaf Art 

Supplies:

  • Spray Bottles
  • Food Coloring
  • Watercolor Paper

Instructions:

  1. Fill the spray bottle halfway with water
  2. Add the food coloring.  I suggest 20 drops to ensure the color will show on the paper.
  3. Go on a nature walk and pick random leaves
  4. Place the leaf or leaves on the paper
  5. Spray the paper with the colors you would like
  6. Allow the paper to dry for at least an hour
  7. Remove the leaf and see your watercolor leaf print
